Privacy Policy

The short version

Your transcripts and documents stay on your own computer. We store the minimum needed to know who you are and what you have paid for. We do not sell data to anyone.

What we store on our servers

• Account — your email address and a user id, held by Google Firebase Authentication. If you sign in with Google we receive your email address and nothing else.
• Entitlement — which plan you bought, how many calls remain, and when your window expires.
• Usage — for each session: its identifier, when it started and stopped, how many seconds it ran, and whether it consumed a call. We do not store the audio or the transcript of that session.
• Payments — order and payment identifiers returned by Razorpay. Your card details never reach our servers; Razorpay handles them.

What stays on your computer

Transcripts, generated answers, your session history, and any resume or notes you add are written to a local database in your user profile. They are never uploaded to us. Deleting the app’s data folder removes them permanently.

Where your audio goes

While a session is running, audio from your microphone and system output is streamed directly from your computer to the speech-to-text provider selected in Settings — either Google (Gemini) or ElevenLabs — for live transcription. The text of your recent transcript is then sent to Google Gemini to draft an answer. That traffic goes to those providers under their terms; it does not pass through our servers, and we do not retain it.

Audio is only captured while a session is running. InterviewAssist deliberately remains visible in screen shares and does not hide itself from screen capture.

Cookies

The website sets only what Firebase Authentication needs to keep you signed in. There is no advertising or third-party analytics tracking.

Retention and deletion

Account, entitlement and usage records are kept while your account exists, and payment records for as long as tax law requires. To delete your account and everything associated with it, email wazidali@krapton.com from your account address.
